During the Christmas and Hannukah holiday celebration let's remember why our traditions began and give thanks for what we have. Many are much less fortunate and some now mourn the loss of their loved ones.
Last year we were stunned by the horrific killing of innocent students in Newtown, CT. Sadly, another senseless event has occurred.
Last week, Claire Davis, 17, was shot in the head at point-blank range, by a fellow student at Arapahoe High School, in Colorado. According to USA TODAY, Karl Pierson, 18, shot Claire before killing himself as the result of an apparent dispute with a school staff member.
Media reports say Claire is clinging to life in a coma at Littleton Adventist Hospital. Please say a prayer for Claire and remember the families in Newtown.
God bless all who suffer. Peace on earth, good will toward men.
