The CVS pharmacy chain has announced the return of its 'Free Gas Card' promotion which is designed to help customers save on gas... as long as they're willing to spend $30 on everyday essentials at participating CVS stores across the country.
From now through July 19, customers who sign up in CVS' ExtraCare program can earn a $10 gift card to Shell, ExxonMobil or BP Amoco, every week by spending $30 on specially marked summer picnic, health or personal care items.
"With summer heating up, this promotion is back by popular demand offering ExtraCare members savings at the pump just by shopping at CVS pharmacy," says Judy Sansone, senior vice president of merchandising.
Customers can find the qualifying products throughout the weekly CVS pharmacy circular, online and through in-store signage in the seasonal aisle at select locations. All qualifying products are tagged with a 'Free Gas Card" icon to make them easily identifiable.
Once ExtraCare customers reach $30 on participating products, a special coupon will print on their receipt that can be redeemed immediately in-store for the gas card.
It's another way to maximize your purchases... and a good deal to reduce the price you pay at the pump!
