Yes, there was a major earthquake. Scientists have known about that fault for years and expect it to slip at any time. However, Dallas is located some distance away from the fault and is having localized earthquakes that, most likely, are not related to the fault. If it was moving, you would have larger shocks over a more widespread area. I go back to my original statement ...before fracking, no earthquakes and after fracking, earthquakes. Cause and effect, perhaps?
