Hard to believe I finally got to the top! Guess I'm lucky Netscapper went back to New York (again!)

by LanguageMan1  Jun 19, 2015

Oh, no change at the pump, not in either direction really, though we are down by about a half a cent over the week.

by LanguageMan1  Jun 19, 2015

Hell, we might go down just a bit or we'll stay in this crazy volatile range for a bit. Went down to under 2.10 on the 17th, went back up to 2.12, then on up to 2.14 again, now back down to under 2.06, hitting 2.05 and stands a good chance of getting to under 2.04. Makes for some great profits when trading it.

That's about right. They've been doing that here as well, but at lower amounts. I believe they're testing us out as we ARE a test market, along with others in the nation. Gas hit a new high for the year on the wholesale market earlier this morning, down now but it'll be back up again later in the day. It hit 2.18, 2.14 now, probably will be back up to 2.15 to 2.17 later on. That's for July gas.

I posted a new topic on price direction at the pump: Have a great week ahead. I also posted here at my Google+ page: Also, thank you on the birthday wishes.

I lit them up, but someone blew them out before I could!!!

Found another issue with the app. The leaderboard numbers are driven by GPS proximity and time. You are only given credit for the number of prices you post your first attempt. If you post all 4 grades, it adds "4" to your running total. If you forget one grade (e.g. diesel) it adds "3" to your running total for those three. But if you go back to add the one you missed, you do not get credit unless you wait until the "time" period passes.

I started back in the day of punch cards, basic, Fortran and Cobol. Entered military as pilot and didn't get back into it until about Y2k. Did dabble a little in Visual Basic, got (back) into the MSN Developers Network and tried to stay current with the explosion of the "visual" programs (VBA, VC++). Was out before smart phone OS explosion, but see much of the same that happened back during the machine language, then visual language crazes happening again (i.e. code optimization >>> sloppy code as harddrives and avail. memory grew).

You know 99% here won't have a clue as to what you said (re: app. GPS issues topic) this morning. I was trying to post in layman terms so others experiencing same/similiar problems can: 1) relate; 2) hopefully contribute; and, 3) show/help GB narrow down the issues (i.e. whether its all Android phones, Android ver. (kitkat vs lollipop), or specific manufacturers (LG, Motorola, Samsung).
