I lit them up, but someone blew them out before I could!!!

Now, if you use the "Price is Right" button, it only updates that one price, you only get credit for posting one price. Furthermore, you have to manually go through all four grades to update four prices for a single station, AND you do not get credit for any of these additional prices until it times out. Quite the waste of time.

Found another issue with the app. The leaderboard numbers are driven by GPS proximity and time. You are only given credit for the number of prices you post your first attempt. If you post all 4 grades, it adds "4" to your running total. If you forget one grade (e.g. diesel) it adds "3" to your running total for those three. But if you go back to add the one you missed, you do not get credit unless you wait until the "time" period passes.

I started back in the day of punch cards, basic, Fortran and Cobol. Entered military as pilot and didn't get back into it until about Y2k. Did dabble a little in Visual Basic, got (back) into the MSN Developers Network and tried to stay current with the explosion of the "visual" programs (VBA, VC++). Was out before smart phone OS explosion, but see much of the same that happened back during the machine language, then visual language crazes happening again (i.e. code optimization >>> sloppy code as harddrives and avail. memory grew).

You know 99% here won't have a clue as to what you said (re: app. GPS issues topic) this morning. I was trying to post in layman terms so others experiencing same/similiar problems can: 1) relate; 2) hopefully contribute; and, 3) show/help GB narrow down the issues (i.e. whether its all Android phones, Android ver. (kitkat vs lollipop), or specific manufacturers (LG, Motorola, Samsung).

What I mentioned to bytebug was all about Android emulators on - in my case - a Windows PC. There are simple settings within the phone emulators to "set" your GPS location to anywhere on the planet you desire. It's a simple matter of navigating to your desired location on a map and clicking. I can be in Virginia one minute, Utah the next and Washington state the next.

ou actually have a great idea about universal time. There are many squabbles caused by time zones. However, I have been known to use it to my advantage. About 2 weeks ago I got to playing around with a young thing in PA. and suddenly realized it was 12:15 am and I hadn't posted. Jumped to Honolulu and got points at something like 10:20 pm. Oh, this is me last Fathers Day.
