I wander around, keep my eyes open and an ear to the ground. Some keep a spreadsheet but I don't. A little birdie mentioned you. My picture is just something that I liked on the computer, do not remember where it is from. Tucson is at about 2,500 ft and we get measurable snow here in the valley about once every five years. Twenty miles across town, we can drive up about 24 miles to the top of a 9,400 ft mountain. It was 84°down here today but there is about 3 ft of snow up there. It is the southern-most ski area in North America. Phoenix is 100 mi north of here and another 1,000 ft lower than Tucson, about as much drop as between you and New Orleans.
