As soon as it gets 5 levels of gov't approvals it can be built..local zoning, xariance, construction, electrical, state consomer energy, utility interconnection, state electrical, and then 3 or 4 inspections and approvals... yup... we do it all about 6 hurdles to jump over.. I believe the actual date was propsed ats 2/22/16... it'll happen cause charging a Tesla uses 50-75 kilofish per charge depending on the battery depletion. .and I have almost 600 miles on the supercar already... j1 aka joetesla

Ps..I do more in retirement than I ever could accomplish working... somedays..I wonder how I ever found time to work to begin with.. and Ive been done for 2 full years plus.. haven't run down the backlog of the to do lists yet.. not one bit..and I run my butt off.. last week I shoveled 8 tons of snow myself.. plus all my other jobs.. barely can keep up.. today i was in the woods and snow for 5 hours of an hour and half drive each way..a dinner date.. two loads of wash and dry or hang.. I barely had time to take the trash out and get a shower in.. being retired properly is hard work.. best joe

Very happy with both my setups which are more geared to commercial reliability. .with 44,000 kilofish caught in the net in under 5 years with dual systems averaged, I'm not complaining one bit.. the carport as proposed with have an additional 3.9K.. enough to catch another 4000-4500 kilofish in the net annually and will also have a single inverter.. cheaper, less trouble, more durable, and commercially practical. .. my solar whiz is under direction to get me the most bang for the buck.. and he is not into coming back more than once to do the same work.. these setups haven't failed me yet.. let the little guys play with the small potatoes. .they got time to fluff around.. my systems are about blowing the doors off the grid.. just like the Tesla blows the stripes off the highway...whoooosh! what the heck was that? Best j1

I'll take it. Filled up for $1.59 this evening in the east end. $1.53 down in Petersburg is impressive too

Happy New Year!

by DrivingtoMars  Jan 04, 2016

Yes, I do. It's changed a lot. It takes about a third less time to earn each million points. Pretty crazy. A 10M point Gasbuddy will happen before I stop. Although it won't be me. Regards.
