Well, Schmidty...after several above ave. temps. up here "nuzzled next to the U.P. of MI" we've gotten 5-7" of heavy wet snow to shovel...actually like to shovel...wasn't much to do in Sheboygan, but here there is. I "train" for it by consuming Bavarian Custard filled chocolate covered Bismarks as part of my nutritional breakfast regimen...otherwise including blueberries, banana and oatmeal. Seems to make it all worth it! No need for air-conditioning...yet.

We made certain that only central AC was acceptable in the home we bought. We had window AC over 36 years ago in our first home we bought in IL and had zero interest now in anything less.

yup, you're right about the you also noticed, the closeness of the 100 yr. homes and lack of garages on may have also noticed the concrete fill-in for the trolley car line that used to run there and, if you bike in the town, you'll run across where the meteorite hit as well as the plaque signifying the record use of concrete for the city's streets (somewhere in the SW side). When we were there, we'd be biking, as you can guess, but we rarely saw anyone else, just smelled the brats on the grills from Fri.-Sun. Now, we've been there since and with the harbor build (it wasn't that way before we left) and all the other additions to the town, it's turned into more of a "playhouse" for Milwaukee and Chicago.

We started out in an apt. complex just to the S. of S. High...and just before the RR tracks. Then moved to the N. side (8th and National) so are aware of the "natural air conditioning" of the Lake where you are located. Our rental was one of the old homes on National, no air, so we'd often head to the lake for that benefit. We also would walk from National to Terry Andrae early in Jan to purchase our State Park Sticker...could walk the shore there and back one we passed the river. Biked there whenever we had time off and were staying in town and not camping elsewhere...would head out in shorts and the clouds would come in, temp. would plunge and we'd freeze our "hinneys" until we headed back. No bike trails at the time.

When my wife and I lived in Sheboygan ('83-'87), it never failed that Sheboygan had higher gas then "Mantown" or "Twivivers"

A BIG CONGRATS on reaching that 3M milestone and your nice big red limo! : ) Wow, you've worked hard for that limo, more than 7 years! Truly magnificent! Keep leading the way for others to follow here in GasBuddyland! Others ahead of you have retired, so there is lots of room at the 4M mark! Only 1,275 GBs have continued on to 4M! More than 6 of 9 GBs use the GasBuddy app! But, many GBs still do not use the GasBuddy mobile app every day, missing out on more than 8k extra points each week with the daily/weekly challenges, or more than 200k every 6 months, that's more than 2M points in 5 years! Using the GasBuddy mobile app every day helps GBs keep their consecutive days almost indefinitely! Keep going, don't stop now, it's not time to retire yet! It's nice seeing you come back each day as I track your progress to that 4M milestone and beyond! Thanks buddy for your 7+ years of dedication here in GasBuddyLand! Have a nice week! Ron
