Hello Nico: The Halifax region and down to Digby has quite a few regulars; but in Cape Breton there are very few GB members and even fewer that write. I might be (now at least), the sole regular contributor. As for my comments, I frequently have to bite my tongue to keep it informative as I did have a career in the petroleum industry in many countries abroad. Unfortunately, the news we get in North America tends to be biased by "our values/perceptions" which is often reflected in many comments made. But it's interesting to have traveled a few miles in someone else sandals. I resist the temptation for mostly negative ad hoc comments (most of the time anyway). By sharing a few tidbits of info, one can only hope to change some unproductive attitudes.

Not sure why the Dartmouth article made you think of me. Here in North Sydney, Cape Breton, drivers even stop to let the ducks and duckling squads cross our "Commercial Street" to go from "their" pond for a cool dip into the harbour. It's our occasional 5 minutes traffic jam - much to the glee of the drivers. They do obey the "Save our Ducks" & "Save our Kids" signs. Besides, they love to stop and chat. We do have a few rambunctious drivers but they save that for the highway. As for the police, they seem to dislike sun, rain, snow and prefer staying at the station to play bingo (or something).

Rumor has it, for another $3000 Tesla will also sell you one flute playing swami to serenade your self fueling snake as it wiggles in and out of the plug socket.. or for $1000 more the stereo in the car will play the swami song any time plus when the vehicle self fuels.. Id prefer American Pie by Don McClean thank you... j1
