Just like the conflicts of today, but if the rules of engagements were like they were in WWII, there would have more likely have been less incidences.

ago Oil, gas, coal, nuke industries most subsidized outfits out there except for wall street banks.. they all get massive tax breaks, cheap land leases, slaps on the wrists for pollution. . Nuke industry eats more money than social security will.. and folks paid into that.. when the bill comes due for all that nuke pollution laying believe the industry will pay for it? I suggest you look into who would foot the bill for that repository in NV they govt taxpayer is who.. all that other stuff.. can be fabricated without additional oil by recycling existing is your contention we had no electric before plastic was invented? Not correct. Best joe

i made an analogy ... jersey has all the power it needs right along the coast.. plus off our roof tops.. no need for anymore nuclear facilities.. just a place to put all their accumulated garbage no one seems to want.. contact the NRC if interested in housing 100 plants worth at your place... but what I wrote below is no joking matter.. my buddy took a job at salem despite my pleas not to.. he trusted them that lie... ate the BS.. and died for it...3 weeks after returning to work... he began getting lost on the way back and forth this after working there almost 2 years.. he went in to see the doctor.. and his dandelion tumor was diagnosed terminal... he underwent two operations.. chemo, and still died less than 2 years after his initial exposure.. mankind should know better that to f with the atom..

Wow..stay away from oyster leak.. bay temps up by several degrees along with algae blooms fostered by nitrogen infusion caused by overferttilizing of residential lawns .. fish catch down.. entire eco system in chaos. . millions of fish killed each year by water intake screens .. bad, bad, and more bad.. my buddy got a brain tumor and died 18 months later after exposure to a 3 week limit in one shot.. they gave him a month off and told him take a vacation on us.. last vacation he ever took.. RIP Charles B White Jr.. dead @ 28 died 1989 ..former engineering sub contractor @ Salem 1,2.. I dedicate my solar pv in honor of his memory.. nothing good happens at a nuke tomb.. wind and solar much better..and some day.. ocean current and wave generation. ..

Hey cat..was busting hairballs bud...the amish don't use that don't use that expensive chemically produced stuff..Reading area farmee on tv quoted a $68,000 fertilizer bill as a reason to source bio fertizler being made at virtually no cost... no tape digital move ..most al those were made off purchased cds..they got ripped into my computer @ 320 mp3.yeah I know.. inferior system.. but so was vhs, and cassette..gasoline is the same..a convenient lesser product usually you use natural cat dirt orchemically produced stuff? If you really care about kitty you use natural stuff just like the food.. chemicals are a slippery slope too, the best thing is usually the most basic.. you dont need a nuke plant to make heat at a campfire.. best j1

I still have cassette tapes .. all squeaky and cracked.. the same happens to cds.. leave one on a seat in a hot car or boat.. watvh it go bye bye before your eyes.. but I still use them.. though my ilx hybrid has a 40 gig harddrive with lossless compression.. I burn a cd in..and the sound seems better than the cd to my ears.. plus no cds laying in the car.. just watched a movie on amazon prime last night.. no difference except they keep the clutter.. did I mention I now cut two lawns weekly without using a single drop of gas ? The devices are plastic based.. but that pollution gets made once every 5-8 years.. by the next go.. that stuff will all be recycled and made from 80% post consumer waste.. I think oil qill be around past its point of obsolescence, but that won't make a hill to the folks that don't use it anylonger. Regards joe

Fertilizer? Like cow poop? Pharmaceuticals? Like Penicillin? I think neither has a petroleum component. The oil and gas industry has brainwashed the public into believing that mankind can not survive without their products totally ignoring the 8000 years prior we seemed to get by without it..a lot of products can be manufactured from natural sources removing that petroleum from the process.. natural fibres like cotton, hemp, and wool can displace junk fabrics like rayon, nylon in clothing.. anyone seen a burlap bag lately? We have created so much jumk plastics..we could recycle these all and reduce new oil demand for those products.. industrious minds will find a way around the status quo..

I have nothing but empathy for them since I pretty much got run out of dodge on rails after 30 years..but the facts are clear.. they are on the losing end of history.. no different than the 75000 eastman kodak let go.. or the 100,000 smith corona laid off when the typewriters went away.. unemployment don't pay much.. neither does walmart.. if those folks step back and consider their future options.. they may find a $75000 a year nusing job with benefits a dam good place for a rebirth especially if job training or education is available to get them to the LPN position to start.. the folks that run nuke plants should consider this as a future option if they should be lucky to live that long.. nuke plant workers and residents around nuke plants.. don't seem to have the greatest health for some reason..but since the NRC cancelled all the studies because of the costs and made their own safety proclamation worth about one cent..we'll never know for sure.. those folks all need nurses..and so

Nice photos. I was once able to kick the tires on the Enterprise when they were keeping it at Dulles airport, outside DC.
