Good to know. I didn't mean to insinuate that we should cut imports all together, but start decreasing as time goes on.

Love the sound of those big radial engines, and those P-38 superchargers whining, Oh boy , don't get me started.

I have lots of possibilities stocked up in my bedroom and garage. My housemate and I are planning to put in some shelving to put my collection on display!

the snow slides right off as soon as the sun comes back out.. just like it melts the snow on the ground but even faster... and the panels go right back to doing their job again.. and that cat is "the power of solar" BTW.. the panels make so much power the rest of the time.. that I can go for days up to weeks... before my credit with the power company is impacted... the power company LOVES my solar.. they are progressive..NOT regressive.. my power is online during peak demand periods when they'd pay up to 10 times the cost elsewhere.. .. they barter their power back at a much lower night rate... often for less than 4 cents a kw.. I am pushing snow with a shovel.. no gas powered equipment... stinks, pollutes, and is toxic.. I dumped my gas powered snow blower 3 years ago.. just like my lawn equipment.... a shovel and some back bone is all that is needed.. best j1

Love the avatar. I put up a picture of the USS Arizona at a 30° list on the 7th. There is an Ensign Whitehead down there, a distant relative from CT.

Oh I get your question now, no that is from the Arizona and I know you know where that is!

The ME 262 could have made a huge difference in the war if it had been introduced sooner, amazing !!! Thanks....CatMan.

I still have cassette tapes .. all squeaky and cracked.. the same happens to cds.. leave one on a seat in a hot car or boat.. watvh it go bye bye before your eyes.. but I still use them.. though my ilx hybrid has a 40 gig harddrive with lossless compression.. I burn a cd in..and the sound seems better than the cd to my ears.. plus no cds laying in the car.. just watched a movie on amazon prime last night.. no difference except they keep the clutter.. did I mention I now cut two lawns weekly without using a single drop of gas ? The devices are plastic based.. but that pollution gets made once every 5-8 years.. by the next go.. that stuff will all be recycled and made from 80% post consumer waste.. I think oil qill be around past its point of obsolescence, but that won't make a hill to the folks that don't use it anylonger. Regards joe
