Here's your weekend outlook on gasoline prices, be sure to keep this information in mind!
Prices in many cities around the U.S. will remain stable or fall gently this weekend. Areas that will see the prices drop more than other areas are California, the Midwest, and the Plain States. Prices in these areas will drop 2-5c/gallon.
California will finally benefit because of high amounts of California-blended fuels in storage. Facilities there are approaching 30 million gallons of CARBOB fuel, a level usually seen in mid-Summer, not mid-Fall. This will help prices in California ease as supply remains plentiful.
Prices in the Northeast and East Coast may rise 1-3c/gallon this weekend as refinery maintenance and outages mean less gasoline supply in those areas.
Prices in many areas around Canada, however, will edge closer to 104c/L from their current level of 103.5c/L. Canadian prices will slowly edge down after the weekend (if the next two days remain quiet) to a level near 103c/L.
