My first big time race was the inaugural Indy Car race at PIR in Portland, OR. I had great seats for the pre-race festivities and the start of the race. After that, it was very disappointing---simply blurs passing by until the end of the race. :(

First NASCAR race was at the old Rockingham Speedway. First ARCA race I saw was at Chicagoland Speedway (was in the pits with Mike Buckley's team).

Waltrip and Earnhardt wrecked on last lap taking out 5 or 6 cars and Kyle Petty won his first career race.
