Jim L. Schuetz passed away Feb. 5th 2009 after a long battle with cancer at age 52. His wife, Su, and daughter, Starr, survive him. Grave-site can be found at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Starr, has it been that long since I met you and your dad at Chester's Hamburgers on Pat Booker?

I'm so sorry to be hearing about Jim's passing. I took an instant liking to him and had hoped to continue the friendship. I knew you were a band student at East Central at the time but I never got your dad's last name, so I couldn't look him up in the phone book.

My condolences to you and your mom on your loss. I remember he was taking chemo at the time and it would really wear him down after each treatment. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to meet him and chat with him for a while at Chester's. I had always wondered what had happened to him and I'm glad I can have closure and know that he's in a better place now. God bless you and your loved ones.
