I still remember how she promised to send her private purple airplane to pick me up so that I could visit her, just because I told her I had a striking resemblance to John Travolta. I strongly suspect she had a "thing" for John Travolta. When I had sufficient points, she provided me with a link to her own personal photo files so that I could have something to really show off my Purple People Eater, which is still my all-time favorite GB car icon. I had heard rumors that CG had passed away and it never occurred to me follow up and investigate those rumors, and for that I'm very, very sorry. I saw her final post in her thread and I thought she was retiring from GasBuddy Land, although she never explained why. She was always so vibrant and she never gave an indication or hint that she was seriously ill. I miss so many of our members who are now where they don't need to worry about the cost of gas, just flap their wings and away they go. The older one gets the more people they lose. Her memory stays with all of us who knew her. Such a delight person she was.

She was a beloved in the GB universe, a dear friend & confidante to so many GB'ers. A few years ago CG was making plans to drive down here (Hernando County) to visit with us. She wasn't feeling well at the time & changed her plans. I'm sorry I never got the chance to meet her in person. She was a dear sweet lady & a joy to chat with here. She will be missed by all who knew her. May God be gently holding her now in the palm of His hand. And may He bless & comfort her grieving family & friends during this very difficult time.
