Great Compact Car - gets 29/40 MPG !!!
Also the Ford Focus & Chevy Cruze !

In Canada the Elantra is rated at 58 mpg (= 48 mpg US). I don't know why, but our OEE ratings for all cars are WAY higher than with EPA. Over-optimistic, I'd say!

Don't mind my 2007 Matrix 5speed at all, rated at 32/36 I get 36 to 40mpg on the highway and 32-35 around town!

I wouldn't mind having a try at the new 2012 Mazda 3 SKYACTIV rated at 29/40.

i now have over 2,000 miles on my 2012 ECO Cruse/6 speed auto and the average for 2,000 mixed driving is 39.9 mpg. not to shabby. i have averaged 55+ on a couple trips. love it.

i have the 2010, and my son has the 2011 and we both love it. roomy, good gas mileage, handles well, good radio, and most of all it has the little shark fin on the roof for the radio antenna.

We just leased a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. 23/30 MPG (automatic transmission) since it's carrying around a little more weight as a hatchback but we're happy with it so far!
