Last night while I was out I noticed something that caught my eye- the gas station's sign said $2.439! I know that since prices are particularly low here right now I should fill up before prices rise. (It's a good thing, because prices did rise today to $2.59, like most Speedway States)
After having to swipe my credit card numerous times, the pump was finally activated. While I was sitting there pumping gasoline, I noticed how ugly and unsightly the gas station was. (READ MORE!) The pumps appeared to be quite old, with multiple gasoline company logos slowly peeling off on the bottom of the rusty pump. After looking around, I guess I was just lucky that the station had pay at the pump!
Had it not been for the cheap gas (see previous blog post about cheap gas), I most likely would have gone somewhere else that had gas at the same $2.439. I'd much rather fill up some place that actually looks presentable, wouldn't you?
Having said that, I have a question for you!
Would you pump gas at a station that had cheap gas but was quite unsightly? Or would you rather deal with any shortcomings in exchange for cheaper gasoline? Give me your thoughts... and anything else that drives you nuts at gas stations!
